Hosting an Event
If you’re interested in hosting an event or fundraiser to benefit the JRW Grants Fund please review the following guidelines:
- At least 60 days prior to the scheduled date of the event, please send a written request which includes contact information, a brief description of the event and any printed flyers or brochures, if any, to JHS Legacy Group, Inc., PO Box 9543, Newark, DE 19714. Requests with attachments may also be emailed to Valerie Wells, President @ valerie@jhslegacygroup.org
- Please do not use the name JHS Legacy Group, Inc. and JRW Grants Fund, or any abbreviated version of the names, in the actual event name. In marketing and advertising materials, JHS Legacy Group, Inc. and/or JRW Grants Fund, can be named as the beneficiary of the event (i.e.: "Bedrock's Bowling Tournament - Proceeds to benefit JHS Legacy Group”).
- Any use of the JHS Legacy Group's name and/or the organization’s logo on any materials related to an event or fundraiser must be approved by JHS Legacy Group before distribution.
- After the event, please forward the following required information to our office:
- Approximate number of people in attendance
- Gross amount that the event raised
- Amount spent on overhead and other expenses
- Percentage of proceeds going to JHS Legacy Group, Inc.
- Any related articles or other media coverage (if available)
